Stuart Linke is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over four decades of experience across the NHS, academia and innovation.
His clinical work has focused on complex mental health difficulties including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance misuse and obsessive -compulsive spectrum disorders.

Stuart has always been an innovator with diverse interests. Early in his career he brought creative therapies onto psychiatric wards, later he worked in rural and urban areas developing a community approach and he was one of the first to utilise digital interventions to empower people to take control of their own mental health.

Drinkbreak is based on Stuart’s earlier work on Down Your Drink. This was the first fully digital interactive online programme for people who want to take control of their drinking.
Drinkbreak is based on high-quality science, professional expertise and decades of experience. The approach is to guide users towards making good quality decisions about drinking and support them in carrying these through.
